How to get USDC into your Sippy wallet so you can start sending money.
What you need
USDC -- a digital dollar. 1 USDC = 1 US dollar, always. It's the currency Sippy uses for all transfers.
Where to find your wallet address
Your wallet address is on the Wallet page at sippy.lat/wallet. It looks like this:
0x1a2B3c4D5e6F...Tap it to copy. You'll paste this address when sending USDC from an exchange or another wallet.
How to fund your wallet
Option 1: Send from an exchange
If you already have USDC on an exchange like Binance, Coinbase, Bitso, or any other, you can withdraw it directly to your Sippy wallet address.
The important part: when the exchange asks which network to use, choose Arbitrum (sometimes listed as "Arbitrum One").
Arbitrum is the network Sippy runs on. Think of it as the road your money travels on -- picking the wrong network means your funds go to a different road and won't show up.
Steps:
- Copy your wallet address from sippy.lat/wallet
- Go to your exchange and start a USDC withdrawal
- Paste your wallet address as the destination
- Select Arbitrum as the network
- Confirm and send
Funds typically arrive in under a minute.
Option 2: Send from another wallet
If you have USDC in another wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, etc.), send it to your Sippy address on the Arbitrum network. Same process -- paste the address, pick Arbitrum, send.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Wrong network. If you send on Ethereum mainnet, Optimism, or another network instead of Arbitrum, your USDC won't appear in Sippy. Double-check the network before confirming.
- Wrong token. Make sure you're sending USDC, not USDT, DAI, or another token. Sippy works with USDC only.
- Truncated address. Always copy-paste the full address. Don't type it manually.
How do I know it arrived?
Your balance updates automatically on the wallet page and through WhatsApp. You can also message Sippy on WhatsApp:
balance
And you'll see your updated amount right away.
